The JFCD team came out blazing on the pitch on Sunday with a 4 to 2 win against the Hudson County Sheriffs Department. Performing and scoring big for JCFD was James Papas (#9) with two goals for the night. Brian Fennerty (#31) and Derrick Drennan (#36) both contributed one goal. Fennerty’s goal was magnificent – a beautiful kick that sailed into the far post from 20 yards away. Kudos to the combination play of Bielan, Fennerty, Papas and Drennan.
Team captain Danny Beteta (#20) commanded the HCSD team scoring both of their goals, but it wasn’t enough to conquer Jersey City’s Bravest managed by Loren Hart.
