The U.S. Soccer Heroes (USSH) will be facing the New York Police Department FC (NYPD FC) in a special memorial soccer match set for Sunday, September 11 at the Red Bull Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, following the New York Red Bull vs. DC United MLS game. Now in its second year, this memorial soccer match pits some of the best law enforcement soccer players on both sides of the Hudson against each other on two teams that both have charitable missions at heart. Reigning champs NYPD FC raises funds for the NYPD Widow & Children’s Fund while the USSH raises funds for community initiatives including supporting New Jersey based law enforcement families in need.
